Community Guidelines
Core Expectations
Be welcoming: Say hi. Introduce yourself to someone new. You never know who might need it.
Share the space: Work in when possible. Be aware of equipment and platform use. Communicate.
Respect each other’s focus: Some folks love to chat. Others are in the zone.
Encourage others: Celebrate PRs. Support tough days. We're all in this together.
Be coachable: Stay open to feedback from coaches and fellow lifters alike.
Leave it better: Wipe down your space, return equipment, and keep the gym clean for the next person.
Respect the process: Show up consistently, train with effort, focus on quality movement, and trust that progress takes time.
Strength Ratio Policies and Rules
These policies are designed to create a safe, respectful, and effective training environment for all members.
Member Info
Keep Your Zen Planner Profile Up to Date. We appreciate your helping us stay connected and organized!
Make sure your profile includes:
Current phone number
Current address
Current email
A photo of yourself (to help our coaches recognize you!)
Store Personal Items Properly
Use the cubbies at the back of the gym to store your personal items during your session.
Please do not bring bags or gear onto the platforms.
Cubbies are for in-gym use only—no long-term storage.
Keep Platforms Clear
Return all weights and gear after use.
Reset cable attachments to their original location.
Keep lifting areas clean and clutter-free to ensure safety.
Be Aware of Your Surroundings
Know what’s happening around you.
Avoid standing or gathering near lifters' platforms.
When walking near a platform where someone is Olympic Weightlifting, wait until they’ve completed their lift before passing. If unsure, just ask!
Class Sign-Ups
Reserve spots via Zen Planner.
If class is full, be prepared to share space with another member.
Class Caps
Strength & Conditioning: 8 people
Weightlifting: 6 people
Saturday Weightlifting: 16 people (sharing required)
Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancel at least 12 hours in advance.
For 6:00 AM & 7:45 AM classes, cancel by 9:00 PM the night prior.
No-shows will result in a class being deducted from your package.
If something urgent comes up inside the cancellation window, contact us ASAP. We’ll do our best to notify waitlisted members and ensure you’re not penalized.
Call/text the number listed in the Zen Planner app or email gym@strengthratiohq.com
Weightlifting + Strength & Conditioning Members
Sign up for either Weightlifting or Strength & Conditioning, not both.
Exception: If attending 7:45 AM S&C and 9:00 AM WL, only sign up for 9:00 AM WL. This is a workaround due to Zen Planner limitations.
Waitlist Policies
Waitlists operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do not add yourself to the Weightlifting waitlist.
If you’re a Strength & Conditioning-only member and see open Weightlifting slots within 2 hours of class, you may sign up—but only if you're next in line.
Please do not come in if you’re still waitlisted at the class start time.
Personal Programming
Reserve a spot through Zen Planner—6 spots are available, and sharing may be required.
Personal Programming clients have priority access to the back area of the gym.
Olympic lifters should use the 2 back platforms without the cable rack.
If you’re waitlisted, don’t come in unless notified that a spot has opened.
Equipment Priorities
Personal Programming clients have priority to:
Kilo plates
Competition bars
Blocks
Group classes have priority to:
Hip thrust pads
Benches
Shared general-use equipment
Open Gym
Check Zen Planner for the open gym schedule.
Reservations required—please don’t show up if no slots are available.
Personal Programming has platform priority.
Operates as true open gym:
Be ready to share space and equipment.
Let others work in.
Communicate and collaborate.
24/7 Off-Hours Access
You must have a 24/7 access membership to train between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM or after 7:00 PM.
